Element RC Enduro Gatekeeper RTR
Built to last. When you're tackling a trail, you want to know you can count on your vehicle's performance and reliability. The new Enduro Gatekeeper Rock Crawler Buggy RTR offers all that and more!
Tailored entirely for the discerning RC rock crawler enthusiast, the new Enduro Gatekeeper Buggy RTR is packed to the rafters with performance-enhancing features that are sure to impress.
What makes the Enduro Gatekeeper Buggy RTR stand out? The brand new Gatekeeper Suspension (GKS?) wheel suspension! This suspension package uses trailing arms on which the shock absorbers are mounted further forward, allowing more room for shock tuning and providing better weight distribution. In combination with a stabilizer bar, the use of these trailing arms allows the suspension to work more evenly when conquering rocks, providing a stable ride. The Panhard bar is permanently mounted to the.
Ladder frame to stiffen the assembly, improving the reliability and response of the Enduro GK's steering. Our shock mounting inserts offer multiple mounting options, allowing the suspension to be adjusted to the exact conditions, whether by moving the shocks up, down, front or rear.
But that's not all. The Enduro GK is based on our tried-and-tested Enduro chassis made of stamped steel beams from C-sections, whose superior properties have already impressed before.
The Behind-the-Axle (BTA) steering bar mounted behind the axle so optimizes the steering angle and increases ground clearance at the front end of the vehicle, making it much easier to move through rough terrain. The Stealth(R) X transmission allows the ratio on the rear axle to be changed in three stages independently of the front axle: A standard 5.7% overdrive on the front axle (built into the RTR model), Option 1 with a 1:1 ratio between the front and rear axles (available as an accessory), and with Option 2, an 11.83% overdrive on the front axle (included).
Power is transmitted via three-piece telescopic driveshafts with a center section of extruded aluminum, universal joint shafts on the front axle and ring gears and drive pinions of hardened steel. With the drivetrain of the Enduro GK, adequate and reliable power transmission at all times is not a problem at all!
With the Enduro Gatekeeper Rock Crawler Buggy RTR, performance is not everything, it also looks great! With its styling inspired by real off-road sports, the Enduro GK is unmistakable off-road!
The Gatekeeper buggy's new body features an injection-molded cage , modeled after that of the big rock crawlers. The fairing made of
Polycarbonate was screen printed with the element RC design and further decorated with a high quality decal sheet. Also included are a cockpit with plastic helmets for the driver and passenger and detailed decals for the gearshift and center console, navigation system and overalls. Other design elements include black-colored dummy radiators with fan wheels and a replica fuel tank that can be painted if desired. With all of these scale details, the Gatekeeper body looks just great on the trail.
The cage makes the chassis look difficult to access at first glance, but that's not the case. The hinged and removable body mount allows foolproof access to the electronics and makes working on the chassis a pleasure, whether on the trail or on the workbench.
Officially licensed tires and rims: For optimal grip, a set of officially licensed General Grabber? X3 tires in a soft high-performance rubber compound. The General Grabber? X3 tires are mounted on officially licensed Method 701 Trail Series beadlock rims. So there is no need to worry about the glue of the RTR tires coming off.
With components from market leaders General Tires? and Method Wheels, the Enduro Gatekeeper simply looks great and performs superbly off-road.
